Our group classes bring the energy of a group setting with the intimacy of a focused session. Classes are kept small to ensure individualized attention while allowing participants to bond with others in their Pilates journey. In these sessions, we use specialized equipment, including the Reformer, Chair, and Tower, to enhance strength, control, and coordination.
Our private sessions are available for individuals, pairs, or trios, offering a highly personalized approach to Pilates. With undivided attention from our well-trained instructors, each session is tailored to the participants’ unique needs, helping them achieve optimal posture, strength, and flexibility. Our Gyrotonic® classes offer a distinctive movement experience designed to increase mobility, strength, and body awareness through spiraling, flowing sequences. Using the specialized Pulley Tower equipment, each session encourages natural, three-dimensional movement patterns that are gentle on the joints yet deeply effective. FAQ
Is Pilates suitable for beginners?
Yes, Pilates is suitable for all fitness levels, including beginners. Our classes are designed to be adaptable, and our instructors will guide you through each exercise to ensure you’re comfortable and safe. We would encourage beginners to take more private sessions first before going for group classes to ensure basic understanding of Pilates movements and safety of the apparatus.
What should I wear to a Pilates class?
We recommend hair tie long hairs, wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows you to move freely and give instructors the ability to give client’s better feedback on the movements throughout private or group classes. Avoid clothing that is too loose, as it may interfere with your movements. In Senna, we encourage clients to wear grip socks for hygiene purposes and added stability.
Do I need to bring any equipment?
No, all necessary equipment is provided in the studio. However, you may bring a water bottle and a small towel if you like. Our studio is fully equipped with apparatus for a complete Pilates experience.
How often should I do Pilates to see results?
The frequency of sessions depends on your fitness goals, but many clients feel and see improvements with two to three sessions per week either private , group classes or a mix of both. Consistency is key to achieving the best results in strength, flexibility, and posture.
What’s the difference between Reformer Pilates and Mat Pilates?
Reformer Pilates uses specialized equipment, including a sliding carriage, springs, and straps, to add resistance to exercises. Mat Pilates, on the other hand, is performed on a mat with body weight as resistance, or other equipment like weights & small balls. Both offer unique benefits and can be adapted for various fitness levels.
